También conocido cómo la Noche de las brujas o Noche de difuntos . Es una fiesta de orígen celta, que se celebra internacionalmente el 31/OCTUBRE. Sus raíces están vinculadas con la conmemoración de la festividad Cristiana  del Día de todos los santos , celebrada por los católicos el 1 de Noviembre. Es gran parte de un  festejo secular , consideran que poseen un transfondo religioso. El día se asocia a menudo con los colores: naranja, negro y morado.

El Truco o Trato ( se dice trik or treat) era una leyenda popular según la cuál, no solo los espíritus  eran libres de vagar por la tierra, sino toda clase de procedentes de todos los reínos espirituales.

En la actualidad, los niños se disfrazan y pasean por las calles pidiendo dulces de puerta en puerta.

Si los adultos les dan caramelos o dinero se interpreta que han aceptado el trato. Y si se niegan, los niños les gastan una pequeña broma, arrojar huevos o espuma de afeitar contra la puerta.
